Now for something completely different: I worked my first ever private photography gig this weekend, taking marketing-oriented images for a salon here in Fayetteville called GLAM Beauty Bar. It specializes in blowouts, men’s trims and other services. Having a client and setting a price are things I had very little experience with, so here’s to sliding up the learning curve. But whatever the situation, photography remains all about the light, the place and the people.

A lot of happy people, as you can see, so it was a good time. These are just the highlights of a few hours’ work. I think they turned out well, but, as always, I have plenty to learn about this new side of the profession.
